Mr. Ding-A-Ling ice cream was started in 1975 with one truck and we now operate 66 trucks from Utica, NY to the West, Pittsfield , Ma to the East and Middletown, NY to the South and Burlington, Vermont to the North. |

We employ 66 drivers for the season. College students and
seasonal workers make up most of the employees.

| Mr. Ding-A-Ling ice cream requires background checks on all their drivers. All of our drivers train with an experienced driver and then watch several safety videos. They must pass an exam after their training. | ||||||
|
Our trucks are available for children's parties, company
picnics and special events.

|
We belong to the International Association of Ice Cream
vendors. This organization supplies us with many
safety articles, tests, and training videos. We also belong
to the NYS safe vending committee which we
meet regularly with other New York state vendors to promote
safety messages to children.
